Kairos in Closed Country in Southeast Asia
A six-day intensive Kairos course was recently held in a closed country in Southeast Asia. The course, which was facilitated by Owen and Glynis, had 27 participants.
The course was held in the best venue in the country, a church building, which has remained after a time of war in this country. Owen and Glynis reported that they and the participants sensed God’s protection and blessing as they went thru 9 days of studying the course.
The participants said that they were challenged as they took the course and they experienced a number of paradigm shifts in their thinking and understanding of missions. On the last day of the course, they had a time of integration.
Sixteen participants were also trained to become Kairos facilitators after completing the course. They will be assisting in the next course in August in the same place and also in the first Kairos course in another politically and religiously sensitive area in October.
Some of these facilitators are expected to be ready to serve as head facilitators in November.
Your prayers are needed for the work to continue on.
