Kairos moment for CMA leadership in the Philippines
The month of May was a Kairos moment for the Christian and Missionary Alliance (CMA) national leadership and for their Visayas and Mindanao overseers. Thirty-seven CMA leaders took the Kairos course last May 25-31 in Davao city. All of them also took the Kairos Facilitator’s training.
A significant outcome of the course was the CMA leadership’s decision to implement the course for the whole denomination. All CMA pastors are now required to take Kairos; the course will also be used in all their Bible schools.
It must be noted that CMA churches are strategically located among the Least Reached People (LRP) groups in the Philippines and their involvement in expanding God’s kingdom to the LRPs in the Philippines will thus be very significant.
