Kairos: An Eye-opening Course

Twelve participants, all graduates from Maziotela’s Leadership Training School and involved in running rural churches in the area, recently took the Kairos course at Maziotela in Northern Mozambique. Some walked for 60 kilometers just to hear about God’s heart for the unreached through the course.

For most of the participants, it was an eye opener to see the many peoples who have yet to hear about Jesus with cultures and religions very different to their own.  They were challenged and inspired not to forget their unreached neighbors and to reach out to them in love. 

According to Steve, Head Facilitator for this course and Country Coordinator for Kairos Mozambique, he was blessed to have five facilitators, including two who are well on their way to becoming Head Facilitators.  They have been praying for more facilitators in Mozambique and they praise God for this answered prayer.
