Kairos Course Takes Off in Nepal
Kairos has taken off in Nepal with the first course just concluded in Kathmandu.
According to Malaysian Course Coordinator, Mun Heng, Kairos is now in the process of being translated into Nepali with the target of completion by the end of this year.
One facilitator that Mun Heng pooled as part of the team was a Nepali pastor based in Shillong, North East India. A team is now being developed in Nepal to facilitate Kairos in that country.
Another Kairos course is scheduled in East Nepal in October. This will be done primarily in English and some Nepali, depending on the input from the Nepali facilitators. Some of these facilitators have been trained in Malaysia.
Mun Heng believes that with the current network of relationships now developed all across Nepal, Kairos has even greater potential to impact Nepal. It is also essential that Kairos be translated in Nepali and for Nepali facilitators to be trained.
There is a large Nepali diaspora in the world. A Nepali Kairos for use among all Nepali-speaking peoples can be a very effective missions mobilizing tool.
