Kairos runs in a new translation in Southeast Asian country

A Kairos course was recently held for the first time using the local language of a Southeast Asian country. Fifteen participants joined the five-day course representing six different churches. The key translator for the course from another region came to serve as Head Facilitator.

A number of the participants are planning to bring the course to more churches. One participant has penciled in a February-March 2009 course while yet another participant is looking into running Youth Kairos early next year. A desire for intercession was also birthed as a result of the course. One lady is now planning and praying to be directly involved in a cross-cultural setting. One church is also set to hold the course in August 2009.

A course in February in another local language has also been set in the same Southeast Asian region. Another course is to follow in March. There is also a demand for Kairos courses in English.

The head facilitator serving in this region is keen on training up more head facilitators before the year ends. She notes as well that the need is not just promoting Kairos courses but seeing mobilization take place.
