Kairos Course Held in Norway

Worshipping God and declaring his promises for least reached peoples (LRP) while moving around a huge map was one highlight in the Kairos course in Norway. Snow was falling outside the YWAM base at Grimerud, Ottestad when the course was held with nine participants early this year.

The course was conducted in English, the first language of only one participant. All the participants are already involved in missions but they interacted well with the material and remained open for God to speak to their hearts.

Trevor and Kay, International Course Coordinators, conducted the course together with a team of facilitators. Some key leaders in Norway were not able to attend the course so there are plans for a second pilot course in autumn.  Dates are yet to be confirmed.

Some quotes from the participants:

*It inspired in my heart an ever deeper longing that all peoples might come to know Jesus and the joy of living for His glory.  It gave a sound basis for this longing biblically, historically and strategically.  John, YWAM Missionary to Norway

*It has give n me even greater heart/desire to be part of reaching to the still unreached people groups.  It has been wonderful to see the big picture of God’s plan for our world and for all the people.  Maria, Finnish missionary to Norway

*It has been an important reminder of why we exist and the purpose God has in involving us in His great mission. Svein, Norwegian mission leader
