Kairos Time in Russia

“It has probably been one of the most significant courses I have ever seen in 10 years,…the Russian delegates totally grasped the worldview and all the values of Kairos…and are set to fly!” Linda, Kairos Europe director reports on the recent Kairos course in Russia.

Every chapter excited the delegates. “Their growth points and responses were so rich and their creativity in the prayer focuses was an inspiration: we had rap, poem, drama and song,” Linda adds. It was a joy for her to work with an established team who will be able to work together to grow Kairos in Russia.

Eighteen delegates finished the course. Twelve of them went on to finish the Facilitators’ Training. Two Kairos courses are already slated in two cities there by October this year.
Linda had waited for a long time to go to Russia but she says now that it has been worth the wait.

Hudson Taylor (1832-1905), founder of China Inland Mission, had prophesied in the past about Russia. In essence, it’s about fires igniting there and then spreading across Europe. The excitement that has been stirred up in Russia with the recent Kairos course will perhaps help fulfil the spreading of fire – a fire in spreading out the Gospel of hope to the least reached peoples of Russia and beyond!
