Update from Kairos Philippines
The Christian and Missionary Alliance Churches of the Philippines (CAMACOP) is serious about the Great Commission. And its leaders have seen that the Kairos course is one tool to mobilize their denomination towards increasing involvement in it.
Pastor James, CAMACOP’s National Executive Minister for Division of Missions, reports that Kairos has been integrated in the curriculum of one of their Bible colleges; all the faculty and staff are Kairos graduates. Fifty-two students recently finished the course in the Bible College, a mixture of freshmen and senior students. Pastor James also conducted courses in two areas in Mindanao recently. About 55 participants finished the course in one area, 45 participants finished the Facilitator’s Training while 43 participants finished the course in another area, and 37 finished the Facilitator’s training.
A course in Hong Kong was also conducted by Pastor James among Alliance pastors serving there. The participants also took the Facilitator’s training course.
