Updates from the US and the Philippines
Once again, the Lord did not fail to work in His people through Kairos. Such was the observation of the Kairos facilitating team which recently held a course in Florida, USA.
Six participants joined the course: one participant is part of the Worship Jesus Fellowship Board while two were ministry heads in the said church.
The course was an eye-opener for participants; it has sparked an excitement for them to be involved in the Great Commission. The Special Activities within the course had a great impact on them. A five-day Youth Kairos has also been planned for 2010.
As for the Philippines, Pastor James, National Executive Minister, Division of Missions of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Churches of the Philippines (CAMACOP) reports that the Kairos course has now been integrated in one of their Bible colleges. He adds that a separate Kairos course has been scheduled for all the heads, academic deans and mission faculty of all CAMACOP Bible colleges and seminaries. This is with the aim to eventually integrate the course in all of their Bible schools and colleges.
Pastor James has brought the course to their missionaries in Japan; he is also keen in bringing the course to Hong Kong and India.
